Geometric, at times irregular forms that look like planets and stellar nebulae. A colour scheme reminiscent of the 1980s, evoking a feeling of nostalgia for the past days. This is what the latest bedding design from the ART collection is all about. It was made by a highly talented illustrator, Ada Zielińska.
Outer space and stars are an often recurring theme in Ada's work. It's what she feels most comfortable in. These themes can be found in most of her works, which makes it no surprise that they also appear in the Soft Void pattern. One may associate inert and free floating in outer space with abstract dreams where we lift off the ground and leave our physical bodies, drifting into the unknown.
Soft Void is the perfect design for enthusiasts of abstraction as well as vivid colours and cosmic landscapes.
This design is the second model from the FOONKA® bedding collection, the main idea of which is to showcase the art of contemporary illustrators, painters and designers.
The most amazing feature of the entire collection is the fact that an artist collaborating with the brand at a given point, indicates people who, in his or her opinion, should be the next to create new designs. This allows artists to have an impact on how the entire ART collection looks and in which direction it develops. The person who recommended Ada Zielińska to design the latest bedding design for FOONKA was the illustrator Pola Augustynowicz.
Designer dealing with broadly defined graphic design and illustration. She creates in various styles, bringing together modernity with the nostalgia of the 1970s and 1980s. Although her works are produced in a digital environment, she makes no secret of her passion for analogue techniques, which she uses at any opportunity she gets.
Together with Patryk Hardziej, she co-creates the Hardziej Studio – a graphic design studio specialising in designing album covers, visual branding, books, exhibitions and more. She has collaborated with brands and institutions such as: Adobe, Netflix, Levi's, Etsy, CD Projekt Red, Fast Company Magazine, New Scientist Magazine, Alpha Industries, Asus and the National Museum in Gdańsk.

Fabric: 100% cotton sateen certified with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
Single duvet cover sizes: 135x200 cm, 140x200 cm, 150x200 cm
The product was made mainly with quality in mind. The fabric is 100% cotton weaved and printed in Łódź in compliance with the most stringent requirements of the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate. It is soft and durable, and the photorealistic print renders every detail and shade remarkably accurate.
Behind our each design there is a different story, and each of them holds its own original surprises. Following the less-waste rule, we try to limit the amount of produced waste to the minimum. That is why every our product is cut out from the fabric randomly to save on scrap. It is extremely difficult to find two identical pillow cases or tablecloths with the same elements placed in the same spots.
